Confined within the ever-growing walls of society I like to find escapism within the pools of vibrancy and nature that are featured in my works. I often use pen and ink to bring out the darker values and to push more bold shadows. With watercolor, I like to focus on the softer and lighter values. Animals and nature have always fascinated me, nothing ever fully stays the same, and sometimes it still manages to flourish even in the most unlikely of places. I like to base my pieces on my own thoughts, feelings, and challenges that I face combined with the themes of nature. Whether it be about myself, other people in my life, or the experiences I share with them.
